We will have 2 throw out races for the season.

Reminder to everyone that we offer three caged gas animal classes. These classes are stock animal engines that run on gas. The classes were added a few years ago to give families an alternative engine that is lower priced with minimal maintenance.

Racing Line-ups & Points

All drivers must draw for their first heat line-up position when they sign in. The lowest number gets inside pole position for the heat race. The second set of heat races will be inverted from the line-up of the first set of heat races.

The features will be lined up by adding up the points from both heat races. The kart with the most points will get pole position for the feature. If there is a tie for the number of points after the heats, the kart that drew the lower number at the sign-in will get pole position.

Race Length
Rookie, Sportsman, and Animal Red Classes - 6 lap heats and 8 lap feature
Junior I and II, Animal Gold and Gas and Cageless Classes - 8 lap heats and 10 lap feature.

Points
After a kart takes a green flag, it will receive points for the last postion of that race. If a kart is Black Flagged, it will receive no points for that race. First and Second place finishers in the B Feature may move into the back of the A Feature. B Feature will only be run if there are more than 8 karts. This will apply to all classes except Rookies.

All drivers that race a minimum of eight events will be awarded a trophy at the Awards Banquet. All regular race events will earn points unless othewise stated. If you participate in all of the race events we will throw out your two lowest point nights. This does not include disqualification races.

Points are not accumulated for the Rookie or Animal Red Divisions.
