We were the first track that we are aware of in the state to offer these classes. The purpose of the class was to offer families a less expensive engine that required less maintenance. This gave families an option of an engine that was less than half the price of the Briggs Flathead and did not require the continuous freshening being it was ran on pump gas instead of methanol, not to mention making it much easier and cheaper for people to pick up fuel for their karts. We worked hard to promote these new classes and hoped other tracks would look at adding them as well. As a track we are happy with the gas animal classes and don’t see any need to differ from our original idea of a reasonably priced engine that requires less maintenance, which was the sole purpose of the added class. There is no charge to watch the races from the tailgate area. If you want to enter any other areas of the facility you must purchase a $7 pit pass. All ages are welcome in our pit area.
